Meet Our President, Edward Howe

Ed Howe is the president of Chesapeake Secure Solutions, Inc. (CSSI). Ed started his career as a bench technician repairing computer systems to the chip level in the 1980’s. He worked for various contracting companies and also with the Department of Defense (DoD) as a government employee for more than 12 years prior to starting CSSI in 2001. Ed founded CSSI to create a company that is respected, honest, and a place where the employees would be treated as team members and not as a number. Ed understands there are many other companies that you could choose to work for, but there are not a lot of companies that you can choose to work “with.”

Ed is very proud to have created a successful employee oriented company that has been supporting the DoD for 24 years. CSSI is well-respected because of the exceptional support we provide as a company to our customers by our CSSI team members. Ed looks forward to supporting the DoD community for many years to come.

While Ed has dedicated his life to making CSSI successful, outside of work, Ed enjoys spending time with his friends and family to include, his wife Kelli, four children and six grandchildren. He also enjoys biking, fishing, boating and relaxing at the beach.
